2002 Intercooled Magnacharger and Cam Corvette

Modifications:

This 2002 Corvette's modifications started with a simple air intake and Corsa muffler system. When all was said and done the car was spinning the dyno rollers to 470rwhp and 450rwtq. To get it there the car was built in stages. Next on the list of modifications was a 3.90 ratio rear gear along with a Hurst Billet shifter. Melrose headers and a Random Technology catylitic converter system were installed to help the engine breath even better. A silver Magnacharger was added to the car once the power level was deemed too low still. A Ken Grody hood was used to cover the Magnacharger. Autometer Phantom gauges reside in the hood to monitor boost and fuel pressure. The Magnacharger was originally installed before an intercooled version was availible. So once the intercooler retrofit became availible, it was added to this car. At the same time our blower cam was installed in the car along with upgraded Comp Cams springs, retainers, and pushrods. Somewhere along the way, the customer had some aftermarket wheels and tires installed. They are wider than stock and were powder coated black before being mounted. A Predator shift light is mounted low on the interior A-pillar to signal for a gear change when needed. The last changes made were MSD's new ignition coils were installed along with MSD plug wires to simply give it a better look to the customer. Then again it took two years for the car to reach this level of modification, so maybe the MSD parts aren't the last changes.
